Sant Berenguer Gate
Facing the Castle of the King, it is one of the two entrances to the transept of the church along with the Anunciata Gate. It is sober and austere as the rest of the cathedral in this sector. The portal, designed as a body protruding above the wall, as occurs in other portals, is the simplest of them all. The only sculptural decoration is found in the crowning cornice, delicately carved, and in the chrismon that is located in the centre. Most likely it was the first gate that was built and what was used to a certain extent in structural guidelines to follow in the rest of the gates.
