Chapel of Conception. The Colom family
Its construction was almost parallel to that of the nearby chapel of Montcada, although unlike the latter, it was a newly built chapel, while Montcada took in part of the walls from the preceding Romanesque apsidal chapel. It was the space that the Bishop of Lleida, Ferrer Colom, erected as a solemn private burial space. In his monumental tomb only fragments of funerary relieves are preserved.
